Summer Intern 2022- Project Delivery Job at CSL Behring
Position
The Project Delivery Intern will complete one summer internship during which they will work closely with other engineers, as well as cross-functionality with other departments to assist in capital projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist in capital projects and operational support.
Assist in updating standard operating procedures (SOPs), piping and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs) and process flow diagram (PFD) Drawings.
Provide project technical support in the development of engineering documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Examples include system specifications, commissioning document, requests for proposals, requests for information, and change controls.
Work with contractors/consultants to answer questions and ensure that project work is delivered as expected.
The intern will be introduced to tasks utilizing skills in various areas of engineering. Examples include Industrial Controls, Process Engineering, Qualification and Capital Project execution.
Qualifications:
Enrolled in a 4-year university with progression toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction or related field.
Student must have completed sophomore year at the beginning of summer, 2022.
Competencies:
Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills required.
Must display maturity and a high level of professionalism.
Demonstrates acceptance of responsibility, shows pride in work performed, demonstrates flexibility and acceptance of assignments and schedules.
