Summary/ Objective

The Receiving Supervisor plans, assigns, and monitors department employees, and activities. Responsible for implementing of all policies and practices and procedures pertaining to product and personnel by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards:

Essential Functions

· Directly supervises all department employees

· Analyzes and resolves work challenges or assists workers in solving work challenges.

· Responsible for maintaining that the continual training and employee performance review schedule is on track.

· Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.

· Completes daily receiving records and verifies orders in company operating system.

· Loads and unloads trucks using material handling equipment and forklift.

· Constantly seeks to improve our process and performance and improving our daily production performance.

· Performs activities of workers supervised when needed.

Required Education and Experience

Minimum of a high school education and four years of factory-related experience in inventory management, shipping and/or receiving leadership role. Able to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, use math skills and proficient in MS Office.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to variety of temperature conditions, fumes, chemicals, and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
