Responsible for providing excellent service to ensure satisfaction, greeting and seating guests, presenting menus to guest and informing them of specials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests
- Present menus to guests and inform them of specials
- Treat all guests in a manner to ensure satisfaction
- ID guests as needed
- Run the floor plan board
- Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty and occupied tables
- Take guest information and quote wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available
- Answer questions concerning the menu and restaurant
- Interact with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience
- Answer phones, place and fill to-go orders
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of restaurant
- Clean and re-set tables
