We are experiencing significant growth and as a result, we are looking for Annuity Insurance Case Managers to join our Annuity team and help support this growth. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provide accurate and timely service via phone (incoming and outgoing), email and written communication to IAMS’ licensed agents.
  • Process Annuity New Business applications from submission to commission; review annuity applications and corresponding paperwork for accuracy and completeness, document outstanding requirements, enter the application in the CRM and follow up with carriers until the business is issued.
  • Proactive, daily follow up with carriers to ensure the pending business is being processed timely, accurately noting CRM with current status and promptly communicate status details to the agent.
  • Manage agent and carrier caseload with a sense of urgency, dedication to accuracy and responsiveness, while identifying high priority situations and acting accordingly.
  • Work closely with insurance agents to ensure they have the correct, up-to-date application paperwork required to submit annuity business.

· Build and maintain strong and effective long-term working relationships with IAMS producers.

· Scrub applications identifying incorrect or inaccurate information and making necessary changes to ensure it’s accuracy.

· Make sure financial assets and affordability qualifications are met.

· Act as the liaison between the carriers and agents.

  • Manage special projects as assigned.
  • Regular and punctual attendance is required in order to meet business service level standards.

  • Works with licensed insurance professionals and carriers across the country
  • Works closely with sales and marketing team
  • Works with vendors and business partners who provide products/services to IAMS frequently

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of industry or relevant experience preferred
  • Must have professional phone etiquette & be outgoing
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with little supervision
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to interact with internal and external individuals at all levels including Management
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word and Excel, administration, data entry, keyboarding skills
  • Ability to multitask and to prioritize workload under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a “follow-up until resolved” mindset
  • Must escalate appropriate issues in a timely fashion
  • Must be detailed oriented with accuracy

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary based on experience and skills
  • Company year-end bonus if Company goals are achieved
  • Medical health and dental insurance after 60 days of employment – 80/20 plan with BSBS. Employee pays for 20% of the premium cost.
  • Monthly Company paid HSA contributions between $100 - $200 after 90 days of employment
  • 401K retirement plan after 12 months of employment – employer match up to 4%
  • 7 paid holidays
  • PTO day during birthday month
  • PTO – (0-3 years) = 15 days per year; accrued at 1.25 days per month (4+ years) = 20 days per year; accrued at 1.67 days per month

  • Employee referral bonus – if referred hire is employed for 90 days ($250 bonus) 180 days ($500 bonus)

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
