Arizona Broadway Theatre is sekking a highly skilled/experienced Wardrobe Supervisor to round out our team. The qualified applicant must have strong organizational skills, is detail oriented, and has the ability to develop/complete wardrobe specific documentation. Some generalized sewing skills. A strong leader who works well with others (staff, actors etc.)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Uphold Cosume design at the highest artistic level utilizing the design binder
• Oversee all wardrobe staff
• Assist actors in getting into costumes,during and after the production.
• Develop/implement laundry guidelines and clean costumes baased on those schedules/guidelines.
• Sanitize costumes nightly according to health guidelines.
• Maintain a healthy/sanitary workspace both in the dressing rooms and wardrobes area.
• Generalized sewing skills to repair costumes on an as needed basis. Ability to work on home and industrial machines.

Education:

Applicants must hold a B.A./B.F.A. in Theater, Technical Theatre, Costume Design, Costume Technology, Fashion Design, Apparel Design or an equivalent degree in theatre and/or fashion industries. In lieu of and/or addition to an earned degree, applican tmust have had professional wardrobe supervisor and/or wardrobe industry experiences for a minimum of two (2) years.
