The Brand Marketing team at Concord Theatricals oversees marketing and brand management for Rodgers & Hammerstein. Responsibilities include developing brand partnerships, launching unique marketing campaigns, overseeing 30+ owned social media channels, ensuring brand consistency with licensees and other partners, supporting first class theatrical productions and more – all with the goal of increasing brand awareness and driving revenue via theatrical licensing, music publishing and non-traditional licensing.

As the Theatricals Brand Marketing Intern , you will have an immersive and educational experience into the world of a marketing department for the major global entertainment brand of Rodgers & Hammerstein. This internship is suited for a student or recent graduate with a passion for musical theatre and an interest in archival management and historical research. A primarily responsibility will be assisting with the physical and digital organization of the historical archive. The Rodgers & Hammerstein archives – composed of A/V, audio, photo, book, marketing and promotional assets – is a fascinating treasure trove that will appeal to a musical theatre enthusiast. Candidates should also have an interest in marketing and learning how historical assets and content can be used to drive brand awareness.

Our paid internship program will give you a unique opportunity to enhance your professional skillset, increase your knowledge of the industry, and expand your network. Our goal is to help you develop your talents as well as receive dedicated mentorship and support. Our Summer Internship Program will run from Tuesday, June 6 th – Friday, August 18 th and allows interns to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This internship is a paid in-person opportunity and requires the ability to work in the specified office location.
Responsibilities:
What you’ll do:
  • Assist with the physical and digital organization of the historical archive for Rodgers & Hammerstein
  • Assist with compiling archival materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the department’s marketing efforts through content brainstorm, creation and publication on all owned digital channels
  • Assist Senior Manager of Brand Marketing with social media monitoring, community management, influencer sourcing and tracking
  • Support the Marketing team as necessary on all projects and campaigns
  • Receive mentoring and support from supervisor throughout the semester
  • Attend weekly educational programming to gain deeper understanding of various Concord departments

  • Knowledge or study in communications, marketing, PR, advertising, etc.
  • This internship is a part-time paid internship and requires someone located in/near New York City.
  • The timeline of this internship program runs from Tuesday, June 6th – Friday, August 18th you must be able to work 20 hours/week.

The hourly rate for this position is $16.04
