Roch Capital Inc., a privately owned capital management firm, is hiring a Senior Accountant - Real Estate, who is responsible for assisting in the management of all aspects of Real Estate Reporting and Analysis. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the completion of journal entries, variance analysis reports, and ensures related compliance tasks are assigned.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and is based out of our Glen Mills, PA headquarters
Essential Functions:

• Review and analysis of monthly financial reports from third-party property managers
• Preparation of consolidating journal entries
• Review of weekly disbursements and funding requests
• Preparation of profitability and variance analysis reports for management
• Monitor budget vs. actual reporting for compliance
• Ensure compliance with contracts
• Prepare and/or review straight-line rent calculations
• Manage fixed asset schedules
• Exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of accounting responsibilities.

• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards colleagues and management.
• Maintain confidentiality of corporate/shareholder financial data.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Excellent organizational, motivational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough and detail oriented.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills required.
• Comprehension of GAAP rules and regulations.
• PC-related skills (Microsoft Office, Lotus and other standard office software applications, Great Plains or related accounting software applications, tax related software applications) required.

Education & Work Experience:

• B. A. or B. S. Degree from an accredited four-year college or university required with a course concentration in Tax highly preferred. CPA/public accounting background is preferred but not required.
• Five (5) or more years of related experience.
