Overview
The Appointment Scheduler is responsible for scheduling and maintaining training schedules for our Jackson Dawson Trainers at dealerships. The ideal candidate would be someone who can pro-actively connect with people over the phone and have a detailed oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating and maintaining schedules for Jackson Dawson Trainers
- Requires skillful decision making as schedules must be built based on geography, mileage, dealership preference, as well as dealership ranking within Ford Motor Company
- Responsible to monitor, record, and tally travel hours, billing hours and per diem for Jackson Dawson Trainers
- Responsible to collaborate with colleagues and adjust actions in relation to others’ actions to produce and create synchronized schedules.
- Responsible for the data entry of all training dates and times within the Ford Training web site.
- Responsible for daily conflict checks to avoid double-booking of training both within and outside the In-Dealership training program.
- Scheduler must communicate effectively in writing with dealership managers to secure training dates for Ford and Lincoln.
Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with strong emphasis in Excel
- Phone Etiquette—must convey information efficiently
- Effective Writing and Grammar skills
- Multi-Tasking
