Work from Home as a Speech Pathologist in Illinois
A school district in Illinois is looking to fill a fulltime or part time SLP position. The Speech Pathologist will work with a mild to moderate caseload. Speech Pathologist’s should have experience with AAC and assistive technology devices and with writing IEP’s. Soliant provides clinical and technical training for all therapists before beginning the job, in addition to tech/clinical support when the position begins.
Overview:
IL SLP Licensure/Credentials needed
Start/End Dates: ASAP – 6/7/2023 (emergency days until 6/14/23 TBD)
Full Time (35 hours/week)
Schedule: 8:20 AM – 3:15 PM
Grade Levels: Pre-School – 4th Grade
Caseload Size: 56
Duties: IEP case manager, write an IEP, lead IEP meetings, write IEP goal updates (trimester), meet student minutes on IEP, communicate with staff and families, complete evaluations, see itinerant students, see RTI students, implement and provide support for students with AAC, communicate with outside SLP for specific students, other job responsibilities from the Principal
Software/Systems Used: eSped and Skyward
Requirements:
ASHA CCC’s
Active Illinois Speech State license &PEL Educator Certification
Active Speech License in state you reside in if other than Illinois
Approximately 2 years of school-based experience as SLP
Must be Tech Savvy (zoom knowledge)
