Project Coordinator / Estimator - Remote Option Job at Legacy Restoration
Legacy Restoration’s guiding purpose is to improve the quality of life for our customers and employees through the
pursuit of excellence in exterior restoration - including roofing, siding, windows and gutters.
The Project Coordinator plays an important role at Legacy. This individual is responsible for ensuring all incoming residential construction projects are appropriately set to build, which involves removing potential stumbling blocks as jobs are submitted. They review each job submission closely to identify any scope or pricing-related issues. They have the opportunity to work closely with the Sales, Production, and Supplementing Teams throughout the process. Individuals in this role must be very detail-oriented, and self-motivated as well as have strong organization and problem-solving skills.
The salary range for this position is $50000 - 75000.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review all roofing, siding, window and gutter jobs before they go into production
- Communicate and problem-solve job submission issue(s) with appropriate departments including Sales, Production and Supplementing Teams
- Create full material lists and special instructions for exterior residential construction projects
- Provide direction and leadership to the Sales Team for any jobs that require further action
- Review revenue and margins for jobs and initiate supplements to be sent to insurance companies accordingly
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Detail-oriented with exceptional self-awareness and accountability

- Must be able to follow strict quality control procedures and guidelines
- Capable of leveraging effective time management principles
- Team player with an independent drive to succeed and positively contribute to multiple departments
- Able to work alongside Production, Sales and Supplementing Teams while understanding the varying dynamics of each
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment within a top tier company
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive knowledge of the exterior restoration components related to residential projects including roofing, siding, windows and gutters
- In-depth knowledge of materials and labor as they relate to construction projects and ordering
- Experience with Takeoffs – specifically the ability to use photos and measurements to create work orders
- Strong background in ordering construction materials and labor
- Knowledge of residential insurance claims processes
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
- Industry experience is a plus; working knowledge of insurance claims, construction estimating and Xactimate is preferred
