Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas, NV based IT consulting firm, is seeking a Project Coordinator. This will be an onsite, contract opportunity.
Summary
As a Project Coordinator for Elections, you'll work with various team members at different levels of the organization to manage projects, coordinate resources, monitor operations, and improve overall organization or large teams.
Job Requirements
· Has 2 or more years of project coordinator experience.
· Has experience managing large teams and is comfortable working as a central point of contact for various departments, team members and department leads.
· Experienced managing cross functional teams from different departments with various skillsets is a MUST.
· Has strong experience with scheduling and managing systems for schedule communication and tracking of hours by department and project.
· High level of computer literacy with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and Teams.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation & influencing skills.
· Willingness to present objectives and goals and coordinate large teams towards a unified directive.
· Is an independent, self-directing quicker learner who can execute with little supervision.
· Strong experience planning for and managing projects of all shapes, sizes, complexity.
· Works well with ambiguity and drives participants towards well-defined path of tasks and deliverables.
· Learn quickly when facing new problems; a relentless and versatile learner; open to change and able to adapt quickly.
· Willing to take on challenges outside of the scope of the project and offer aid to others as needed to ensure successful achievement of objectives.
· Excellent time management and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure goals are achieved.
Preferred
· Has experience working with government entities or large operations.
· Fluent conversational Spanish speaker. Minimal Spanish experience is not applicable.
Physical Requirements
· Able to stand and walk comfortably in a warehouse setting.
· Able to walk long distances to coordinate between departments inside of an office and warehouse setting.
· Comfortable in a swamp cooled warehouse for long periods of time.
Other Requirements
· Able to pass a background check.
· Will be required to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
· Will be required to work on essential days for the Elections like November 8th (Election Day).
· Must have a valid Nevada Driver’s License.
· Must be registered to vote in Nevada.
· Required to drive between warehouse and polling locations as needed.
Responsibilities
· Organize and manage large teams from various departments ensuring team members complete their required tasks and duties.
· Able to coordinate and schedule team members for various roles ensuring completion of the required tasks.
· Manage dependency of various departments ensuring tasks are completed and in turn trigger subsequent tasks for other teams.
· Schedule management for a team upwards of 300 people with the ability to utilize scheduling systems and create a streamlined process for reporting and monitoring of hours by project.
· Work directly with key department leads as a support system aiding with various projects as needed.
· Deliver value by guiding project teams and by creating effective collaboration with team members, various department leads and others through streamlined communication processes.
· Manage, organize, coordinate, and monitor activities and functions of projects in cooperation with other departments and outside agencies, contractors and vendors.
· Develop project plan and schedules for projects and individuals, coordinating budgets, work and labor utilization.
· Interact with governmental/regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals and to ensure regulatory compliance.
· Ensures all project team members understand the objectives and their corresponding individual contribution or roles including deadlines.
· Identify and manage project risks and issues.
· Create DevOps tickets derived from bugs discovered during User Acceptance Testing.
· Organize and manage existing as well as new DevOps tickets to ensure they include accurate and sufficient detail for timely development.
· Continuously monitor and report on weekly progress of the project to all stakeholders.
