Due to an internal promotion, Cherryland Electric Cooperative is currently recruiting for an exceptional Member Information Representative. This is not a typical call center/customer service type of position. This position requires an analytical mind and the ability to learn the intricacies of the electrical industry, electric usage and distribution plant. Collaboration, positive attitude and a strong desire to serve the Cooperative member are required attributes.
This position enjoys a rotating work from home schedule. To be successful in this position, you need to have a strong focus on customer service, strong computer skills and keen attention to detail. Pleasant attitude and sense of humor are a must!
The MIR position is responsible for effectively and professionally assisting the membership with excellent member service including:
Responding to member inquiries, issues and concerns- Maintaining member information and associated system data requirements
- Working through billing processes, procedures and requirements, including communicating usage analysis and consumption patterns
- Processing payments
- Initiating service orders
- Working collaboratively with all other departments
