Shift: 1st Shift (5 days, 8hrs); Monday – Friday

JOB SUMMARY

The Medical Receptionist is needed to welcome patients. Check patients in and out of the clinic. Answer incoming calls, scheduling appointments, patient cancellations, requests for rescheduling updating patient demographics, maintain bump list, schedule for each division, page MDs with hospital consults, obtain medical records when possible, miscellaneous duties as assigned for high volume fast pace setting in the Psychiatry department.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 1+ year of cumulative customer service experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and web-based technologies
• Proven verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated customer service orientation
• Demonstrated experience providing superior customer service with a high level of effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of medical office experience preferred
• 1 year collection of co-pay and remaining balances experience preferred
