Job Description

Machine Operator- Level 1
Runs extruder machine – basic operations
Cuts parts to length
Machines and fabricates parts
Assembly of parts
Deburrs parts after extrusion
Packages finished product.
Performs other duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications: To perform thisjob successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative ofthe knowledge, skills, qualifications, competencies, abilities and any physicaldemands if required.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as shop orders,basic blue prints, shop drawings, process alerts, work instructions, etc. asrequired.
Ability to read and write in English and perform basic mathfunctions at a 12th grade level.
Ability to use precision measuring tools.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry outinstructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Basic mechanical aptitude
Has passion for their work and Ducommun; finds creative andunique ways to contribute to the team.

Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications:
High school diploma or GED
At least one (1) year minimum of related experience in amanufacturing environment.
Basic mechanical aptitude, entry level
