The Department of Cinematic Arts at the School of Communication is accepting applications for a part-time lecturer pool to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses. A Master's Degree in screenwriting, film-making, or related field and at least three years of relevant teaching or professional experience is required.
The department includes majors in Motion Pictures, and Documentary. Applicants must demonstrate teaching ability of areas including: film theory, film-making (production, producing, directing) and screenwriting. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency with technology appropriate for the class they will teach, and in-depth knowledge of film and/or interactive media industries and trends.
