North Wind Construction Services provides heavy civil construction services with special expertise in mine reclamation, repository construction and operation, landfill closures, and stream restoration. Operations began in northern Idaho, but have expanded to new regions including Las Vegas, Seattle, and Oak Ridge. The Construction Services team is known for the successful completion of projects in challenging conditions that are often in remote locations throughout the U.S. North Wind Construction Services is a certified 8(a) and small disadvantaged business.

Summary of Duties:
This position performs a variety of duties involving strenuous manual labor in heavy civil construction or environmental remediation or cleanup.

• Work under the direction of the Site Superintendent.
• Inspect, maintain, and operate assigned manual and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use of vibrating compaction tools.
• Use of multiple hand-held or walk-behind tools.
• Ditch digging.
• Chain saw operation.
• Truck wash high-pressure hose operation.
• Load/unload/place various materials such as geotextiles or pipping.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Skills:

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs alone.
• Must be a US Citizen.
