Infant Teacher Job at First Step Learning Center
First Steps Learning Center in Lafayette is in search of an Infant Toddler Teacher to join our team. This is a full-time position beginning immediately. (7:40am-4:40pm Monday-Friday)
(Must have 12 ECE units to be considered a qualified teacher)
*Experience with this age group is valuable but we will train in our philosophy.
Duties:
-prepare bottles and assist with feedings
-promote a healthy, safe environment for all children
- assist in daily routine; nap time, diaper changes, play time, story time, music, etc.
-build relationships with families and communicate daily needs
-work together with co-teachers in collaboration
Goals:
As we search for the perfect candidate to join our teaching staff, our goal is to find exceptional professionals who are able to demonstrate at all times the willingness and capabilities to become advocates for the children.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Pre-employment physical exam, TB clearance, immunization record, (must be Covid-19 vaccinated) LiveScan and criminal record clearance.
Pay is based upon education and experience. Must have at least 12 ECE units to be considered a qualified teacher.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff is required to wear masks. Health screenings and daily temperature checks are performed. All staff must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
