HR Business Partner
Position Summary:
As a strategic partner, aligns organizational objectives with employees and management in designated business units. Key part of the HR team and works across the business disciplines to lead and influence change at a strategic level across the business Acts as a consultant to management on HR related issues. Communicates needs proactively with the other functional areas of HR to troubleshoot and develop solutions. Participates in the resolution of employee relations issues and participates in all investigations. Conducts organizational development research and uses data to create change initiatives. Delivers value added service to management and employees that reflect organizational goals.
Qualifications & Education
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's Degree, SPHR or PHR required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Knowledge of Word processing software; Excel spreadsheet software; email, Internet Search, Internet software and human resource systems.
