Summary: Under direct supervision, fill, sew and/or stack briquettes or lumps of charcoal off the line into bags and/or pallets.
Major Duties:
- Place wood or briquette pieces neatly into bag to obtain proper fill level.
- Fill bags withn the proper time frame required for the product being ran.
- May assist in performing routine preventative maintenance on the equipment.
- Clean work areas with hand tools, including shovels and brooms as required or requested.
- Promptly notifies operator or supervisor of needed repairs or problems.
- Follow established safety requirements and standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience/Skils:
- No experience needed.
- Overtime is required periodically to meet the production demands.
- Able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly as needed throughout the shift.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time (on repetitive basis).
- Able to work in varying external weather temperatures and ground/surface conditions depending on the season.
- Able to follow detailed instructions.
