Floor Technician Job at Keswick Multicare Inc
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed throughout the building in healthcare and office settings. Requires continuous walking, standing, climbing, balancing, bending and stooping throughout the day. Requires physical effort including the need to lift or carry up to 75 pounds and push or pull a cart weighing up to 75 pounds; adheres to established protocol for lifting objects. Constant reaching with the hands or arms, and use of hands to finger, handle or feel. Requires ability to talk, hear and smell. Requires close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
May experience stress during emergency situations or due to frequent interruptions and multiple demands from residents/ patients, families and staff. May be required to work weekends, holidays, evenings and/or nights, and during emergent situations such as extreme weather conditions or disasters.
Frequent exposure to dust, dirt, chemicals or fumes. Occasional exposure to body fluids, infectious waste, or blood borne disease requiring standard precautions. Employees will be instructed in the proper use of personal protective equipment and specific protocol if assigned duties where they may be at risk.
Part Time 12-8 pm including every other weekend shifts.
22.5 hours per week, (Bi-weekly pay period: 45 hours per pay period)
