Job Responsibilities:

• Performs various shipping and receiving duties both manually and with a forklift.
• Maintaining accurate inventory and conducts inventory actions
• Fostering a productive work relationship with parts branch manager and counter sales associates. Coordinating activities with other departments of the company as necessary.
• Adhering to appropriate safety standards and collecting necessary data to comply with DOT regulations
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment, organizing and maintaining inventory storage areas while ensuring procedures, rules, and regulations are followed.
• Motivate, train and discipline warehouse staff
• Maintain accurate records and metrics of warehouse activity
• Confirm inventory and shipment accuracy
• Identify areas for improvement and implement new procedures
• Manages all day-to-day processes in the distribution center, including all associates involved in the process

Requirements:

• Forklift certification
• Able to lift 70 pounds
• 3-5 years direct employee supervision experience
• PC skills – Excel, Scan guns, Inventory management system SAP, Infor SX.e, etc.
• Utilizing positive communication skills.
• Inventory and shipping/receiving experience

This role is a working supervision role and candidate will be expected to perform all warehouse functions on any given day.
