Hours: (6PM-6AM) 3-2,2-3 Schedule or (1PM-9:30 PM) M-F

Starting Rate: $19.43+ $1.00 Shift Differential

Johns Manville, a leader in the Commercial/Roofing Systems is seeking motivated individuals to perform as a Warehouse Operator! This position will support the core team. Many roles in the HILLSBORO plant will be cross functional and part of the pay for skills program. This position will also support or work in Production job levels as needed to provide flexibility to the plant. Working safely is a core responsibility of the position. Safety, teamwork and worker flexibility are critical requirements for this position.

Your Day-to-Day

• Able to work safely at all times reporting any unsafe conditions / incidents immediately.
• Performs manual and clerical duties related to: shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing of materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Participates in routing, count validation, and inspecting order quantities while accurately loading and unloading trucks; shipments / deliveries.
• Assists with cycle counting as needed.
• Utilizes SAP to research, locate, and transfer materials.
• (FIFO) sort and store materials in designated locations including main warehouse & annex.
• Skilled / learning in operating various forklifts and or other heavy handling equipment.
• General knowledge of filing / record keeping practices.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Team:

• High School or High School Equivalency Education.
• Must pass drug screen, background check and functional capacity (physical) exam.
• Able to drive a forklift.
