Transcription Processor Job at Healthpointe Medical Group
A Transcription processor is responsible for listening to audio recordings from medical professionals like Physicians to type and organize medical documents. Their duties include communicating with Physicians and administrative staff to fact-check information and medical terms, typing a variety of medical documents including patient reports or public health advice, and ensuring they complete writing tasks within established deadlines for their employer. The position is primarily responsible for accurately transcribing the audio recordings into a written format that has no spelling or grammar errors.
Responsibilities:
- Computer savvy - Microsoft outlook & excel a must
- Experience in working with voice recorders and processing dictations
- Must pay attention to detail - Good at reviewing dictated reports for typographical errors and proper content
- Work well with providers to ensure they are dictating their reports on time
- Experience in scheduling WC cases
- Experience in obtaining authorization for WC cases and working with Utilization Review
- Punctual and organized
- Bilingual a plus (Spanish / English)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
