The Capital Planning and Oversight Office (CPO) manages the DCMB strategic plan and reviews and creates DCMB policies as needed It also ensures quality service through oversight and analysis of all DCMB functions, including oversight of the Asset Management System and Contract Management Database. CPO coordinates al DCMB projects and conducts financial audits of confidential expenditures, as well as other audits, as directed. The office also supervises the use of all capital funds allocated for Department facilities. CPO exercises managerial control and coordinates the functions of the Fiscal Accountability Unit, the Asset Management Unit and the Quality Assurance Unit. The office also coordinates all external fiscal and management audits responds to audit reports and prepares audit implementation plans.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot and complete necessary wiring repairs.
- Installation of conduit and wiring.
- Core drilling and anchoring
- Read and mark up blue prints.
- Keep detailed notes and time management.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for seem less execution of multiple projects.
- Conduct site Surveys for new and existing security infrastructure which includes but is not limited to CCTV, alarm, access systems and electrical.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qual Requirements
1. Four years of full-time, satisfactory journey-level experience, acquired within the last ten years, in the maintenance, installation, or repair of telephone communications systems and equipment; or
2. Three years of full-time experience as described in "1" above, plus graduation from a recognized vocational or trade high school, with a major sequence of courses in electrical or electronic technology; or
3. Two years of full-time experience as described in "1" above, plus an A.A.S. degree from a community college or 60 college credits in a major sequence of courses in electrical or electronic technology.
4. Education and/or experience equivalent to "1", "2", or "3" above.
License Requirement
A Motor Vehicle Drivers License valid in the State of New York. Employees must maintain the license for the duration of their employment.
Special Note
To be eligible for placement in Assignment Level II, candidates must have, in addition to the minimum requirements, at least one year of experience in Assignment Level I or in a supervisory capacity.
