Porsche Cars North America Internship opportunities are designed to promote both career development and functional expertise for the intern, as well as to complete project-related and day-to-day support for the department. The intern will support the Manager of Technical Support (AQ1) on specific Technical Support initiatives and various projects including projects, reporting, and process documentation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide tactical department support towards the achievement organizational objectives including special projects assigned to AQ1
- Assist with all Technical Support reporting facets including creating and running ad-hoc reports and dashboards
- Analyze Workshop Media Feedback cases and create summary reports to support the manager and PAG.
- Collect Service and Diagnostic Media issues as reported by dealers, researching the reported issues and working with the PCNA Technical Support Specialists and the media creators at Porsche AG to develop resolutions
- Assist with managing projects by working with various departments and external vendors, as needed
- Take over responsibility for a variety of administrative tasks including, but not limited to, support of PT4G Tester rollout, meeting organization and preparation
- Provide support to Special Tool & Equipment program
- Assist with other ad hoc AQ related projects as assigned
Qualifications
QualificationsQualificationsEducation:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Recent graduate or in process of obtaining a higher education degree or comparable study
- Training, coursework, and/or experience in information systems and data analysis is preferable
- Automotive or engineering coursework and/or experience is preferable but not required
- Previous Internships in Corporate environments preferred
- German language is a plus but not a requirement
Skills:
- Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience using Microsoft Office software, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Proactive and ability to work independently while managing and overseeing several activities at once
- Ability to analyze data and develop concise reports; Excel, SQL, MS Access, SAP-BW/BO experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Desire for continuous development and learning opportunities
- Professional, pleasant, and customer service oriented disposition
