Old Town Sweet Shop, located in the heart of historic Old Town Temecula, is a hot spot for travelers and locals alike. Here, we strive to create a positive and memorable experience for all the candy lovers we service. We carry an expansive selection of novelty candy and toys that bring out the child in every adult. In addition, we offer a variety of fudge, hand dipped chocolates, chocolate covered strawberries, European imports, and over 40 ice cream and shaved ice flavors!

Job Duties:

• Demonstrate excellent customer service
• Gain adequate product/menu knowledge to convey information onto our customers; including seasonal flavors, ice cream, allergens and specials
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the establishment.
• Accurately process sales transactions, including cash, debit and credit.
• Assist the kitchen in preparing the chocolate assortments
• Regularly restocking floor items as needed

Requirements:

• 1+ year customer service/cash handling experience preferred but not required
• Riverside County Food Handlers Card (May be obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Must be able to carry up to 30lbs
• Reliable mode of transportation
• Weekend availability

The position is available starting at $15/hr for 20-30 hours per week ranging from 4-6 hour shifts. We offer flexible scheduling and like to cooperate with you around your other commitments such as school, family, holidays etc. There is no experience required so you will be provided with all the necessary skills needed for the position in a 3-day training focusing on both soft and hard skills.
