Saint Mary's College seeks to hire a staff accompanist for the Spring 2023 term
Substitute Staff accompanist for Choir on certain Tuesday and Thursday evening classes and on specified performance dates to be provided in advance.
This position also includes special instructional work with individuals and groups of student vocalists to give special attention to specific musical material.
Dr. Julie Ford and Michael Blackburn will coordinate with the contractor about which rehearsal dates might be canceled for various reasons this semester, and any additional performance opportunities which may emerge.
Accompany end of semester concerts and other miscellaneous performances, dates and times TBD.
Approximately 15 hours total for the Spring '23 semester at $60/hour. Details to be discussed when dates are confirmed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must display current extensive and active professional experience as an accompanist.
