Our mission is to create a world class K-8 school where children are prepared for college, career, and life. Who We are Looking for:

Catalyst Academy seeks an experienced paraprofessional to join our team in a full-time capacity. What You Will Need to Know:

• This position is a child-responsive role (i.e. working with a team to identify scholar(s)’ needs and then directly providing those needs);

• This position requires a flexible mindset and an eagerness to promote independence amongst scholars, commensurate with the child’s abilities;

• This position reports directly to the Founding Director of Inclusive Learning, Dr. Carrie Potter-Murray

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years experience working with children in a school setting;

• High school diploma or equivalent

What You Will Do:

• Analyze data with the MTSS and Inclusive Learning teams,

• Implement intervention plans;

• Provide one-to-one, non-instructional support to individual students for activities of daily living, health, behavior, etc.

• Support the School Culture Associate for 2-3 hours per day in classroom support
