Shipper/Receiver Job at LSI Staffing
LSI Staffing in partnership with Norwesco in Sheldon, Ia is looking for somebody who is vigorous and has good dexterity to perform the duties of an Outside Shipper. An Outside Shipper is responsible for sending and receiving materials necessary within our system.
DUTIES & REPSONSIBILITIES:
- Position trucks with the yard to ensure safe efficient loading or unloading
- Performs final inspection on all finished product before shipping
- Forklift operation
- Move production tanks from building to proper location through the yard
PHYSICAL WORK DUTIES & ENVIROMENT:
- The shipper position is classified as heavy work
- You must be able to work indoor and outdoor enviromental conditions with exposure to the following physical activies: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting
- The shipper will work indoor and outdoor with exposure to the following: heights, humidity, heat, cold, wind, noise, vibration, moving mecanical parts, forklift traffic, and tractor trailer traffic
HOURS & PAY:
- Monday-Friday. 8am-4:30pm
- $19/hr to start
- Paid weekly. Every Friday
