Position Summary
Provides preventative and corrective repairs on company automobiles, trucks, forklift, and other vehicles or machinery. Abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. Consistent and reliable attendance is required. Working hours are typically between hours of 6:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour *DOE

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Troubleshoots and repairs company vehicles and equipment as needed, including passenger vehicles, light duty trucks, heavy duty trucks, forklifts and other designated machinery.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and/or repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment, including hydraulic systems on vehicles and equipment.
  • Pick up parts and tires from vendors as needed
  • Maintains and assures cleanliness and neatness of shop area.
  • Accurately complete service outline for vehicles
  • Complete daily forklift inspections.

Education and Experience

  • Associates Degree in automotive/diesel technology or related field; and
  • 3-6 months previous related experience and/or training, or
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Certificates, Licenses

  • Valid Driver s License required
  • Valid Commercial Driver s License preferred or ability to obtain within reasonable time after hire

Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
  • Ability to regularly lift/move up to 100 pounds
