S enior Property Accountant Responsibilities:
- Prepare, generate and review financial reports and supporting paper works monthly, quarterly, and annually on a GAAP basis
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare/review journal entries and general ledger account analysis.
- Review monthly asset operating statements ensuring preparation in accordance with lease and management agreements.
- Assist with the preparation and review of REIT SEC filings and related public disclosures.
- Prepare debt covenants as stipulated in the applicable agreements.
S enior Property Accountant Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a 3.0 minimum GPA.
- 3 years of Accounting experience.
- Proficiency with Property Management/Accounting software. Yardi preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify areas of process improvement opportunities.
