Senior HVAC Design Engineer (10+ years exp) – Oak Ridge, TN
HVAC engineers will be designing HVAC, and plumbing systems for industrial applications, performing temperature / humidity control / utility load calculations, developing Airflow Diagrams, Ventilation & Instrumentation Diagrams, as well as ductwork and piping plans, and developing building management system (BMS) control philosophy, details, Sequence of Operations. Engineer should be knowledgeable in the application of industry standard codes, including ICC, ASHRAE, and NFPA documents, and competent using discipline specific technical software such as: Carrier HAP, Trane TRACE, etc.
Remote working is possible, but a two-week orientation with the in Oak Ridge will be required as well as periodic travel to Oak Ridge once every 4 – 6 weeks.
Start Date: June 1st
Duration: Initially one Year (annual extension likely)
Pay Rate: $75.00 - $81.00 / hr Non-Exempt
Mid-level (5 – 10 years’ experience)l: $71.50
Senior level (10+ years’ experience): $81.00
PD: $155/Day (must qualify)
Mob / Demob: $500 each (must qualify)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $75.00 - $81.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Oak Ridge, TN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
