Position Overview:
Professional and trade associations hire MCI’s sales team to generate non-dues revenue through advertising, sponsorship, and exhibit sales. The Sales Project Coordinator plays a critical role in the success of the sales team by coordinating between the team and other internal and external departments. Key activities include marketing support, post-sales workflows, reporting, and documentation
Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented person that likes to keep projects on task and enjoys organization while problem solving the task at hand.
Core Responsibilities:
· Support a sales team in the training and development market
· Support the team’s direct sales efforts for advertising, exhibits and sponsorships
· Coordinate post-sale needs for advertisers exhibits and sponsorships, including communication regarding sponsor deliverables and collection of any needed materials from clients, entering contracts in Salesforce, proofing, and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders
· Coordination of deliverables for integrated media programs including tracking, client communication/follow up, and related updates
· Monitoring and communicating statistics for digital ad performance
· Provide weekly support and report needs for meetings with external stakeholders
· Internal champion and lead on the use of Cadmium for events, including both internal & external communication, audits and more related to that data.
· Event coordination for pre- and post-sale between sales team, internal departments, and external event teams
· Coordination of weekly marketing efforts for sales team with internal marketing resources. To include scheduling, list management, proofing of marketing materials, execution, and delivery of sales materials.
· Meet regularly with SVP and sales team to understand major priorities and goals;
· Stay up to date on industry trends in media sales, events, association management, and the training and development market.

· Ability to work autonomously when needed and be a meaningful contributor to group environments
Minimum Qualifications:
· College graduate;
· Preferred internship or other professional work experience;
· Experience at a non-profit organization, association, and/or foundation a plus;
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
· Salesforce experience a plus
· Ability to travel for client meetings and events
