We are seeking a self-motivated, experienced Austin-based sales professional to join our Design Team. As a Sales/Design Consultant you will be responsible for working with clients, designing spaces, managing projects, and building enduring customer relationships with a focus on unsurpassed service and professionalism. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and designing solutions to meet the needs and satisfy your clients. Additionally, the Design Consultant will develop trade business by calling on Interior Designers, Custom Home Builders, Architects, etc.
Ideal applicants should have at least 3 years of outside sales experience as well as strong visual skills and sense of aesthetic and style, be self-disciplined, personable, punctual, driven and very organized with superb follow-up and follow-through skills. Candidates must have solid communication and time management skills as well as the ability to work from a home-based office. A reliable car and a laptop computer are also required as are business technology skills, such as email and Microsoft Office. You must be available to work some evenings and Saturdays as we meet with clients when it is convenient for them. Earning potential of 50K-120K based upon skill, drive, and ambition.
