Regional Office Manager Job at Tyson & Mendes

We are seeking an experienced office manager to join our team of award-winning litigators in New York. A successful candidate would already have worked in a fast-paced defense firm focused on civil litigation matters, with an emphasis on personal injury law and will be ready to hit the ground running.


This person will work in the office out of our New York location (Midtown East) and will remotely support the other regional offices. Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience is required.

Position Responsibilities:


  • Reports directly to and supports the Administrative and Legal Services Director and regional Partners.
  • Oversees support staff located in the New York, Boston, Chicago, and Florida offices.
  • Assists with implementing new policies and procedures for regional offices.
  • Assists with interviewing support staff.
  • Attends meetings regularly with Administrative and Legal Services Director and regional Partners.
  • Assists with facility management.
  • Handles HR issues with the Administrative and Legal Services Director and regional Partners.
  • Administrative assignments from the Administrative and Legal Services Director and regional Partners.

Position Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years of previous management/leadership/human resources experience.
  • Prior law firm experience as a legal assistant or paralegal.
  • Reliability and discretion while handling confidential matters.
  • High proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Articulate, organized and a team player with excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
