Epcon Communities is currently seeking a Regional Accounting to join our growing company. This position is responsible for budgeting and processing financial information for the land and home building functions.

Responsibilities of Regional Accounting:

• Reviews and processes construction invoices and prepares construction draws for multiple projects.
• Assists with the preparation of construction budgets and project completion cost estimates.
• Identifies variances and assists in obtaining documentation
• Prepares monthly and quarterly budget compliance reports.
• Analyzes and processes real estate taxes.
• Communicates with construction trade partners as necessary to ensure timely receipt and proper application of payments.
• This position may require occasional overtime to meet deadlines.

Requirements of Regional Accounting:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.

• Two to three years of accounting experience required. Experience with accounting in the construction industry preferred.

• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and various accounting systems with advanced level of proficiency with Excel.

• Solid working knowledge of accounting software.

• Knowledge of construction draw process preferred.

• Demonstrated attention to detail and effective problem solving skills.
