THE OPPORTUNITY

The role of the Recruiter is to prospect and secure qualified candidates through outreach, inbound applications, and various other marketing efforts. As the first point of contact, you will lay the foundation upon which strong relationships can be built while helping to determine the appropriate next steps for the candidates. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources while working closely with the Department Heads to fill the pipeline for their hiring needs.

Responsibilities:
Work with the Department Directors to identify staffing needs, accurate job descriptions, and to develop a strategic recruitment plan.

Actively advertise job openings using multiple media types, including internal job posting boards, internet and networking sites.

Utilize sourcing techniques to find active and passive candidates, cold calling, and establishing a network of talent and resources.

Review applicant resumes in Zoho and screen qualified candidates.

Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.

Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with hiring managers.

Ensure all candidates are provided with timely updates concerning the status of their application and interviews.

Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.

Prepare offer letters and other employment documents.

Perform background checks.

Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Experience/Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Energetic and positive attitude. Comfortable engaging prospects.

Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

Proficient with social media platforms and career sites.

Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software Zoho or other recruitment systems.

Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in recruiting preferred.
