Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering or related field (IT/ICT).
  • Graduated on or before 2017 to have applicable experience of 5+ years.

Experience:

  • Minimum Ericsson experience: 4-years in 4G and 2-years in 5G.
  • Domain experience and Area of expertise: RAN, EPC, IMS, VoLTE and VoWifi.
  • Required recent experience in Radio Network Performance, Quality, Optimization, Planning and/or Design implementation systems.

Key Roles

  • You will need to secure delivery performance in alignment with the business case and managed service targets.
  • You will be responsible to secure the quality and cost of the services delivered from their delivery unit in accordance with the expected levels agreed in the working level agreements and handle service performance requirements.
  • You will need to understand and act upon the end-to-end delivery performance through a proper coordination with a MS Delivery Manager responsible for other parts of the delivery.
  • You will be responsible for the successful planning, design, management, and optimization of the Viaero Wireless RF and EPC Network.
  • You will need to understand regulatory duties and operational support within the Fixed Wireless Division.
  • Training capability where you can develop and deliver in-depth technical trainings for operator with building new methodologies incorporated into trainings to cover all aspects of the network and build a team technically.
  • Managed Service practice experience with responsibilities as designing strategic methods for improving operations with direct oversight on organization management SOP’s.
  • Swap experience with providing set of customized and carefree services to assure operators achieve secured and smooth service and data migration to have at the end solid & flexible base for further developing the services offered.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and maintain a high-quality level of the 4G/5G Radio Network Services.
  • Ensure high quality performance on all technical activities, and the highest possible level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely on VoLTE & VoWifi Solution, Planning, and Features Expertise.
  • Provide effective technical support and continually seek for quality improvements within the Mobile Network Optimization project.
  • Monitor & analyze the LTE and NR Radio Network Statistics on daily basis.
  • Achieve & maintain the Radio Network Performance as per the contracted KPIs (Accessibility, Retainability, Mobility & Service Integrity).
  • Responsible for Inconsistencies Checks, Parameter changes & Physical changes.
  • Responsible for testing the radio performance for the newly integrated sites.
  • Responsible for the drive test analysis and taking the necessary action to improve the performance of his area.
  • Participate in technical discussions with the customer to gather product-related information.
  • Perform Radio Network Surveys visit if needed possible to sites in order to judge if they are suitable from a radio network point of view (Hardware & Location).
  • Evaluate and adapt new methods and technologies regarding Radio Network Optimization, Features, Trials & Tuning.
  • Be involved in trial projects for new products & features.
  • Work on MS delivery operational and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive operational excellence in field resolution.
  • Be able to perform end-to-end signaling analysis per IMSI and identify problems and recommend solutions based on it.
  • Identify delivery trends-possible and providing analysis for automation.
  • Delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
  • Network analysis and performance monitoring and if needed optimizing radio parameters to reach optimal performance.
  • Supporting the tuning and optimization teams to continuously improve network performance.
  • Analyzes RAN data to recommend optimal changes to RAN network to improve all key indexes and performance indicators.
  • Fully functioning technical professional. Develops new concepts, methods, and techniques. Knowledge - Subject matter expert within own discipline/ specialty area.
  • Applies specialized knowledge of discipline/specialty area standards and processes to work.
  • Integrates company experience and deep technical knowledge and has advanced understanding of select AT&T technologies, systems and/or procedures.
  • Solves non-routine problems based on analysis of multiple factors.
  • Independently identifies key issues, patterns, or deviations from norm.
  • Works on problems requiring judgment and in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
  • Analyzes and interprets research to evaluate and recommend solutions.
  • Applies judgment to determine appropriate processes and technical area standards to use and provides technical direction to others in own work area.
  • Key contributor on diverse projects of moderate scope.
  • Recommends new procedures and processes to drive desired results.
  • Provides specialized technical guidance to others in work area.
  • Builds productive internal/external relationships and collaborates with others in own team or across teams.
  • Provide solutions to RF engineers and cell technicians to improve coverage and capacity.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex troubleshooting cases using Ericsson tools.
  • Provide monthly KPIs and propose suggestion for further improvements.
  • Understand the impact of adding additional carrier(s) on the network including 5G optimization.

  • Understands the relationship between Handovers and Network Capacity, and how to optimize both.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate independently.
  • Ability to coordinate activities with various Ericsson departments.
  • Flexibility of travel within the US if needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
