The QA Analyst is a member of the Technology Department of 365 Retail Markets and reports to the QA Manager. As the QA Analyst you will be responsible for developing manual tests that validate the functionality, performance, stability, and security of the company’s product line end-to-end. You must have a passion for quality and a strong motivation for delivering highly valuable products and solutions.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Develop Manual testcases from requirements and negative tests to uncover any possible production defects.
- Researching issues in software through testing.
- Communicate defects accurately and effectively to the team.
- Collaborating with QA Team members and Software Developers to develop solutions.
- Perform job duties with minimal supervision and escalate problems and concerns to leadership.
- Perform testing against physical hardware like Kiosk, Apps, and card readers.
- Facilitate and participate in all aspects of software testing including: regression testing, negative testing, interface testing, performance testing, UAT, etc.
- Associates Degree in computer science or related fields, or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of IT experience
- Experience App testing on Web, Android, IOS and tablet a plus
- Cards as indicated below
- Experience with sql queries is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
