We are searching for an experienced Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of our mid-size (108 unit), class B+ apartment community in Lake Villa.

The right candidate will be hard-working and organized with proven leadership abilities and outstanding customer service skills.

Salary and benefits:

• Compensation would be between $42,000 - $45,000 base plus commissions and

bonuses up to $10,000 annually.

• Housing allowance up to $7800

• Monday through Friday schedule during the off season. Saturday availability may be required during high traffic seasons.

Daily activities could include:

• Managing the daily operations of the property in order to achieve goals set by the

President and the upper management team

• Manage and control property expenditures
• Rent collection and delinquency management.
• Oversee the lease enforcement process by reviewing and approving incoming

resident files and renewal leases.

• Provide daily updates to the upper management team and responding to requests

from ownership as needed.

• Coordinate and monitor the turnover of inventory.
• Maintain a positive relationship with tenants, guests, and vendors.
• Reporting and file management.
• Help oversee and manage capital improvements.
• Other duties as the needs of the property dictate

Skills we are looking for:

• Previous Property Management experience is preferred.
• Assistant Managers with proven leadership skills will be considered.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency or experience in QuickBooks would be helpful
• Excellent time management skills.
• Follow up and organizational skills are critical
