About The Role

Parry Labs is currently looking for a Project Scheduler to join our team. The Project Scheduler (PS) is responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating all Parry Labs Program Schedules. The PS will ensure that the project schedules are updated within the specifications of the company’s strategy, commitments, and goals; as well as those of the customer. The Project Scheduler assumes overall responsibility for all aspects of the project schedules including communications with all necessary parties to ensure that the project schedules are always as accurate and up to date as possible at all times.

The location for this role is onsite in either our Alexandria, VA, Columbia, MD or Huntsville, AL office.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Proposal team, Program Managers, and Portfolio Managers to develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Online.
• Owns multiple schedules simultaneously ranging in size from internal R&D programs to Mil-std-881 compliant Program of Record schedules.
• Working knowledge and experience of using Earned Value Management Practices (ANSI/EIA-748) for Department of Defense Programs.
• Audits all schedules for quality, critical path, and risk.
• Responsible for and owner of Customer facing schedules. Update schedule as required per requirements in the project contracts and provide customer schedule updates as required.
• Develop and maintain summary level schedule reports, baseline reports, look-ahead, and inform Program Managers of performance trends weekly.
• Interfaces with other department employees, subcontractors, and customers on a regular basis. Updates schedules based on input from the subcontractor, program manager, 3-week look-ahead and daily reports.
• Facilitate and participate in periodic project schedule reviews/audits.
• Constantly monitors and reports on progress of projects in the various weekly project meetings.
• Troubleshoot and monitor potential scheduling problems. Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of DOD specific industry experience in scheduling for engineering and software development.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Online.
• Expert knowledge of Mil-Std-881.
• Expert knowledge of Earned Value Management Practices (ANSI/EIA-748) for Department of Defense Programs.
• General familiarity with project management practices, methods, and techniques.
• General knowledge of Agile, Scrum and DEVSECOP Practices
