Project Manager, Supervisor

The Project Manager, Supervisor is responsible for leading and practicing the delivery of all solutions produced by the assigned team, on time, within budget, in accordance with the firm’s quality standards. The Project Manager, Supervisor is also responsible for maintaining positive relationships with assigned clients and cross-selling all of the firm’s services.

Reports to: Group Leader
Direct Reports: Project Managers
Project Management (60%)
- The PM will utilize the Company’s Project Management system and work closely with project team members for completing projects. Some of the work may include but not limited to:
- Leads project team meetings
- Participates in professional organizations to increase firm’s exposure
- Participates in training and development activities to stay current with industry standards
- Proactively provides positive to constructive feedback to all team members
- Develops and monitors the overall project schedule.
- Completes and maintains project documentation of services
- Project Management Plan (PMP)
- Project review meetings minutes
- Earned Value reports
- Sets project success parameters and timelines
- Schedules all projects reviews
- Schedules and conducts project kick-off meetings
Supervision (10%)
- The PM Supervisor will responsible and supervising and developing a team of high functioning project managers. Some or the work may include but not limited to:
- 1:1 meeting with each employee
- Supports employees with growth and development of each individual
- Assists Group Leader with recruiting and retaining high quality project managers
- Leads continuous improvement to the team’s projects performance
- Assist with maintaining client satisfaction
Business Development (30%)
- Supports the Market Sector Leader(s) in developing new and current business prospects
- Assembles scope, schedule, fees, and deliverables descriptions for written project proposals
- Prepares professional services contracts for review and approval
Technical Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or closely related field
- Professional Engineer or Architecture License, preferred
- 10+ years of experience in project management, strongly preferred
- Experience as a supervisor, preferred
Work Environment:
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Physical dexterity and ability to negotiate around a crowded and busy working office area, and around a crowded and busy working area, including construction sites
