Description

Supervises Engineering and IT Specialists including mentoring and training team of colleagues.

Works directly with service CSP customers on high-end IT software applications (database migrations, database segmentation, etc.)

Manages projects including coordinating and overseeing select, complex IT-centric projects.

Performs systems upgrades on large, Enterprise Class systems act as team lead when required.

Provides operational support for sales, site surveys, and walkthroughs.

Champions and enforces best practices including cyber hygiene, password and patch management, and remote access procedures and tools.

Assists with internal IT as needed, including asset management and deployment.

Supervises Engineering Specialists and IT Network Specialists. Supervises in a manner that maintains morale, skills proficiency and productivity. Recruits and hires team members as required. May perform limited range of managerial responsibilities including but not limited to: mentoring, coaching and developing colleagues; planning, assigning and directing work; performance management; project budget. May oversee subcontractor selection process and work.

Acts as our customers best service provider at all times thereby ensuring Convergint Technologies is the customers first choice for service.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
