RUN Studios and our client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking an enthusiastic Production Designer to support our Retail and Events team for an annual project. The Production Designer will be working with a team of art directors to develop design assets for print and digital initiatives and deliverables.

As a Production Designer, You Will

• Work with print, digital, style guides, photo, and illustration
• Design strongly branded promotional graphics
• Optimize digital images for web
• Develop clean and effective graphic templates and style guides
• Work with the Art Directors to develop assets
• Execute print layouts

As an Applicant, You Bring

• 3 year minimum experience in a web production environment
• BA/BS in Design or equivalent
• Strong experience layout design and print production guidelines and mechanicals
• Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
• Familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing for the web and web based devices
• A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions
• Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills
• Great compositional and typographical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Excellent File Management
• Print Design Experience
• Photo Knowledge with InDesign
• Experience working with a design style guide or branding guidelines
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to gracefully defend your design decisions
• Illustration experience
• Knowledge of information architecture, usability, and UI Design
• Ability to prototype in Axure or HTML/ CSS is a plus!

Compensation:

Pay Range: $50 – $100 (Hourly)

The successful candidate’s starting pay within this range will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
