Job Description:

The mission of the Product Manager - Flow Products role is to use extensive technical knowledge combined with a high level of business acumen to grow product line sales at an above average growth rate. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering to deliver winning products. The product manager makes strategic recommendations that result in the overall product line strategy. These strategic recommendations include the following areas: 1) New product development roadmap 2) Marketing Direction and Spend 3) Sales Channels 4) P&L improvement initiatives. This is an extremely critical and strategic role for Seametrics with a very high level of influence in the organization. This role is an active member on the Seametrics Management Team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain a new product development roadmap for flow products considering voice of customer, market research, knowing what is technically possible and intuition. Complete required phase gate documents for product development in partnership with project management, engineering, and sales.
• Manage the flow product line strategy ensuring direction, alignment, and commitment from all teams. Provide quarterly updates on progress of critical action items.
  • This includes partnering with market sales leadership within the agriculture and industrial markets to complete a robust strategy.
• Manage marketing activities in partnership with the marketing team including a monthly update on key marketing initiatives.
• Manage the flow meter product line pricing strategy and update as appropriate.
• Monitor flow products P&L and make recommendations as appropriate.

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the flow meter industry
• 5+ years in a technical role with an emphasis on achieving high growth
• Demonstrated success defining and collaborating with engineering on launching excellent products
• A true "Team Player" who can work cross-functionally to achieve results
• Ability to drive change and positively influence key stakeholders
• Ability to pinch hit on certain transactional duties to meet customer requirements as required
• Experience operating under an ISO 9001:2000 quality systems following phase gate new product development processes
