Process Server Job at Sweetwater County
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: Under general supervision, performs duties relating to serving civil and criminal summons, subpoenas and other court notices.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY AND PERFORMANCE:
Essential Duties:
- Service Responsibilities:
- Serves civil and criminal summons and completes returns;
- Serves court subpoenas and complete returns;
- Serves jury papers and complete returns;
- Serves eviction notices, FED Summons, Writ of Restitutions;
- Serves execution papers, seizes property and/or money, and auctions seized property;
- Will execute auction on foreclosed properties.
- Delivers inter-departmental mail;
Other Duties: Performs related duties as assigned.
