Westport Social is a refined bar and gaming lounge in Westport Plaza featuring indoor bocce, pop-a-shot, floor and table shuffleboard, ping pong, darts, snookball, private karaoke rooms, live music, and more. And of course, we have a stocked bar along with a full kitchen serving small, shareable plates.
Seeking someone who is able to take direction in order to efficiently execute menu items, prep lists and keep up in a fast-paced kitchen. Must be able to work as a team with other individuals and stay consistent in job performance requirements, as follows:
- Prepares all foods in accordance to standard recipes and as specified by the guest. Visually inspects, selects and uses only food items of the highest quality in the preparation of all menu items.
- Checks and controls the proper storage of product and portion control. - Keeps refrigeration, storage and working areas in clean, working condition to comply with health department regulations.
- Ensures all equipment in working areas is clean and in proper working condition.
- Prepares requisitions for supplies and food items for production in work station. Reads and employs math skills to appropriately prepare items according to recipes.
