Title: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Description:
The primary function of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is to provide comprehensive care to children, adolescents and young adults, while helping families with any questions they may have. NP’s need to demonstrate advanced problem solving skills in all aspects of medical and nursing assessment, care and treatment. Provides, and is accountable for, patient care according to the philosophy and standards of the Practice. Functions as a clinical resource for the patient and internal staff by consistently providing support to ensure patients are given the care they require.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Health maintenance care, including well-child exams and childhood immunizations
• Routine developmental screenings
• Diagnosis and treatment of common childhood illnesses
• Teaching and counseling of children and their families on issues related to health
• Conducting advanced physical assessments
• Interpreting lab and diagnostic test results
• Participate (as directed) in APP meetings and conferences.
• Participate (as directed) in Matrix reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner License
• CPR Certification

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Pediatric NP experience

Physical Demands: Requires sitting, standing and concentrated visual computer attention associated with a normal office environment. Manual dexterity needed for using a computer keyboard. May require lifting up to 30 lbs. Responsibilities, skills and working conditions may change as needs evolve.
Hours: Full Time with the occasional Saturday/Sunday morning office hours
32-40 hours per week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
