Staff Source is seeking Entry Level Packer candidates for a client in Merrillville. In this role you will assist with end of line procedures including quality inspections along with preparing the product for packaging and shipping. The Packer Position pays $12/hour and currently has 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available.

Duties:

• Assemble boxes that will be used for packing and shipping finished product

• Receive packing orders and pack product by ensuring the correct packing configuration

• Inspect and pack completed products into cartons

• Perform quality inspections and package completed products that are exiting the assembly line into boxes

• Identify and remove any defective bottles from the line

• Constructing and packing boxes of product

• Once packaged send the order to be loaded for shipment

Qualifications:

· Must be able to work 8-11 hour shifts

· There will be some mandatory overtime so a flexible schedule is required

· Must have reliable transportation

· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment

· Multitasking, attention to detail, and ability to work independently are key skills required to be successful in this role

· Ability to meet and exceed goals

· Must be able to stand, bend and lift repetitively throughout the entire 8-11 hour shift

· Warehouse experience preferred

· No piercings allowed of any kind
