Dave Mungenast Motorsports, and Dave Mungenast Indian Motorcycle of St Louis, provide sales, parts and service opportunities for Honda, Honda Power Equipment, Indian, Slingshot, GEM and Husqvarna.

We are hiring a personable and motivated Parts Counterperson. The Parts Counterperson is responsible for selling parts to all customers: over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.

Other duties include:

• Assisting all customers (retail and shop) with selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Informing customers of companion part requirements and specials, as well as ensuring that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Answering phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Providing high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Notifying parts manager of out‐of‐stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
• Locating out‐of‐stock parts from outside sources as well as submitting emergency orders, if necessary.
• Making sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
• Receiving payment from retail customers or obtaining credit authorization.
• Issuing credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
• Issuing and tracking requested shop tools to technicians.
• Keeping orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special‐order parts.
• Setting up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick‐up.
• Participating in all training programs that are made available.
• Keeping current on new products and product updates.
• Maintaining a professional appearance.
• Maintaining a clean and professional work environment.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• This position requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
